Mandy, French bulldog

Mandy's Find Toto Success Story
Illinois
Lost and Found: 11/04/2011

My French Bulldog Mandy escaped from my back yard and was gone almost an hour before my wife discovered she was gone. I was frantic when she called me with the bad news. I work 65 miles away from home and I felt so helpless.

My wife combed the local neighborhoods for three hours with little luck. Out of sheer desperation I Googled "lost dog" and I found the link for findtoto.com.

I entered my information and chose the recommended package (package B) almost four hours after she went missing.

I was a bit skeptical but I noticed that I received the recorded call on my home phone which I hadn’t shared with findtoto (I gave them my cell number).

Twenty minutes later I received my first call from a neighbor who had seen her on her street.

For the next hour I continued to receive calls from concerned neighbors who all had seen my lost dog and each of them gave me a location and a time that allowed me to “track” her as she strayed farther from home.

One of my coworkers even said “Gee Eric, do you have an Amber Alert out on your dog?" to which I said “Yes I do!”

Finally on the tenth call a very nice gentleman told me that he had seen Mandy three minutes ago! He got the recorded message when he was home for lunch and when one of his coworkers asked him if he knew if anyone was missing a dog matching Mandy’s description he said “Yes.”

I called my wife to meet up with the nice fellow and Mandy was finally reunited with her family.

I have no doubt that findtoto.com was responsible for Mandy’s safe return six hours after she wandered off. Thank you so much for you service. I’ve told everyone I know about findtoto.com and I will definitely recommend your service to anyone I know who has a missing pet.

Sniffer, chihuahua mix

Lost My Doggie Success Story
Taylor L. (GA)
Lost: 7/3/2011 to 7/6/11

Sniffer, our 12 year old chihuahua terrier mix went missing July 3rd on a night filled with fireworks.

We searched high and low, or so we thought. It was a desperate attempt when we found Lost My Doggie.com. I thought, it couldn't hurt, right? So I spent the money and hoped for the best.

Someone called 3 hours later about a dog who had been hit by a car and was okay but hurt. They had called due to the lost doggie phone call.

They had information on what road she was on and that she ran away when someone tried to pick her up. That road was 4 miles away from the place she was last seen!!!!

We knew which area to look in now and we eventually found her roaming the streets.

We found out after that that people who had received the phone call put out food and water and was looking for my dog! I felt so blessed that complete strangers were willing to help me!

Sniffer is now home and recovering well from dehydration, being over heated, and some facial swelling from being hit. The Veterinarian said she was one lucky dog, although I think that's true I also believe that prayers and compassionate people were the reason Sniffer is back with us.

Lost My Doggie helped us in the right direction and it was worth every dollar.

If you're missing your dog or cat, Lost My Doggie is a great way to start your search.

Princess, cattle dog mix

Recent Find Toto Success Stories:
Princess - Michigan

My husband and I, along with our two dogs, recently visited his relatives in Jackson Michigan (9-hour drive from Alexandria, Va) for the 4th of July weekend.

On Monday the 4th, his aunt and uncle had a house full of people and one of their grandchildren accidentally left the front door open. Our larger dog, Princess, a six-year old cattle dog mix, bolted out of their house and into the woods.

My husband and I immediately began running on adrenaline to find her. His family and kind neighbors assisted us in our relentless search.

We extended our visit an extra day to hand out fliers to residents and businesses in the area. We hiked through fields, woods and swamp areas to find her. We got sunburned, dehydrated and lost a few pounds on our journey. If only that girl knew what we went through for her.

With no luck in finding her, we headed back to Alexandria on Wednesday the 6th, with teary, swollen eyes. We kept telling ourselves that she was having a good time at summer camp and would eventually let us know when she was ready to come home.

We were determined to get her back though. I continued doing research and came across "FindToto.com" which was able to send an automated phone alert to 5,000 people within a three mile radius of where she was last seen.

This alert went out about noon on Monday, July 11, exactly one week since she went missing. Within 30 minutes of the alert, we started getting calls from people saying Princess had been seen near different streets in Jackson, Michigan.

We realized that she was slowly making her way back to our relatives house, where she had last seen us. We immediately reserved another rental car and headed back to Michigan the next day. Upon arriving in Jackson, we drove directly to the street of her last sighting, which had been 2 hours earlier.

We stepped out of our car with our other dog, Bailey Boy, and started walking towards the woods at the end of the street. Within 5 minutes of leaving our car, Princess came running to us from out of the woods. My husband and I were crying with joy. It was pretty unbelievable, almost as if she had been waiting for us.

She went missing on the 4th of July and we got her back on the 12th, that's one week and one day later.

We took her to a nearby animal clinic to get checked. Although a few pounds lighter and a little dehydrated with extremely worn foot pads, she was considered to be in excellent health. Ironically, she was found on "Gaunt St." ; )

She has been recuperating well and seems to be enjoying her comfortable doggie life once again. Needless to say, Bailey Boy is thrilled to have his sister back.

We sincerely thank "FindToto.com" as well as the many kind-hearted, animal-loving people in Jackson, Michigan who assisted in our search. "FindToto.com" is a truly awesome service that all pet owners should know about. We're so thankful for a happy ending...and to have our family together once again. Anyway, that's our amazing missing dog story...a story of HOPE.

Best wishes and good luck to everyone in search of a pet.
